Velo Pulse · A Brightside venture

The whole store,
working as one.

Retail operations software designed around the real pace of cycle shops—from the first sale to the finished service, and every stock movement in between.

Built inside retail

Useful software starts with the day-to-day.

Velo Pulse is being shaped alongside Cycle Fix London and Cycle Parts Shop. That keeps development focused on real jobs: serving customers, managing workshop capacity, tracking stock, buying well and fulfilling orders accurately.

The first focus is independent cycle retail. The aim is a calmer, clearer operation—not more software to manage.

Connected operations

One platform for the work that keeps a store moving.

The capability set grows from live retail needs. These are the core areas currently shaping the platform.

£

Checkout & payments

Fast front-of-house sales, receipts, refunds and a reliable transaction record.

W

Workshop

Bookings, job cards, bike history, estimates, approvals, payments and collection.

S

Stock

Live availability, locations, transfers, receiving, adjustments and audit trails.

P

Purchasing

Supplier orders, deliveries and clearer decisions about what to buy and when.

C

Customer communication

Messages and service context kept together, so the team can respond with confidence.

↗

Online connection

Products, availability and customer orders connected to the same retail operation.

Product principles

Designed to reduce friction—not add another layer.

The platform is still being developed. These principles decide what belongs in it and what does not.

01

One source of truth

Sales, service, stock and customers should not disagree with each other.

02

Clear at a glance

Teams should see what needs action without hunting through the system.

03

Fast in the real world

Workflows must hold up at a busy counter, on the workshop floor and in dispatch.

04

Ready to grow

A store should be able to add locations, channels and services without starting over.

Pilot path

From conversation to working store.

Early pilots will be carefully scoped. The aim is to understand the retailer first, configure the right workflows and support a controlled launch.

STEP 01

Understand

Map the store, people, systems and real operational pain points.

STEP 02

Configure

Select the capabilities and data needed for a focused first deployment.

STEP 03

Launch

Train the team, migrate carefully and stay close through the changeover.

STEP 04

Improve

Use feedback and operational evidence to refine the setup over time.
